Ongoing Project Highlight: Sequoias at Night — Roaring Camp, Felton, CA

Sequoias at Night is an ongoing light art experience that transforms the redwood forest of Roaring Camp into a radiant, immersive trail of light, sound, and color. Guests walk beneath towering redwoods illuminated with lanterns, hand-welded orbs, and color-shifting theatrical lighting designed by Chris Butler of Mindwarp Entertainment Productions.

  • Scope: 0.8-mile forest walk with canopy pendants, LED uplighting, and color-sequenced trestle.
  • Collaborators: Lighting by Chris Butler; Lantern Art by Anna Bobisuthi; Rigging by IATSE Local 611.
